Routine canopy maintenance is an important part of being a safe, responsible skydiver. Here at Western Parachute Services, we have a full Parachute Maintenance Department that provides services such as inspections, relines, patches, and part replacements for canopies.

How often do you have to repack a parachute?

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires that the reserve parachute be inspected and repacked every 180 days (whether it’s used or not) by an FAA-certified parachute rigger.
